I am a PhD student at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), advised by Prof. Yi Yang.

My research interests lie at the intersection of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Information Systems, with a focus on developing efficient and reliable AI systems for specialized domains, particularly finance.

Currently, my research centers on:

• Financial Intelligence: Building domain-specific LLMs (e.g., InvestLM) and benchmarks (e.g., FinMTEB) to enhance financial text analysis and decision-making.
• LLM Alignment & Adaptation: Exploring instruction tuning, uncertainty quantification, and alignment techniques to make LLMs more robust and human-centric.
• Retrieval & Embeddings: Designing advanced embedding models and RAG systems to improve information retrieval in complex scenarios.
